INTRODUCTION   

      CNCplusMTM is a member of CNCplus CNC family. It is a general-purpose PC-based CNC (Computer Numerical Control) system for milling machines and machining centers. It can also be used for boring, engraving, water jet, laser cutting, etc. It is a real-time, multi-tasking, multi-thread CNC system developed with the latest CNC technology, computer technology and software technology.

      Same as other CNCplus products, CNCplusMTM running on Windows 2000 has a multi-language Man-Machine Interface (MMI). It is an open-architecture CNC system. The MMI, system inputs / outputs, and even CNC functions are customizable. The CNC system can be tailored (do it yourself) from 2-axis applications to 6-axis applications for particular job requirements or link the CNC system with other equipments.

      CNCplusMTM is function-add-on software. It changes neither PC functions nor functions of Windows 2000. Therefore, other Windows 2000 based software can run on the PC together with CNCplusMTM.

      CNCplusMTM provides 22 I/O connections for standard package. Additional I/O is optional for more inputs and outputs.

      CNCplusMTM has user-friendly programming functions for both beginners and experienced CNC operators. You may write a CNC program in a full-screen, multi-document editor, or program with its graphic input functions, or down load a CNC program from a CAD/CAM system. CNCplusMTM works with all major CAD/CAM systems. The most popular CNC language is used in CNCplusMTM. It is compatible with FANUC CNC systems.

      Twin software, CNCplusMTM Simulator, was developed together with CNCplusMTM. It is an off-line programming tool designed for off-line programming, operator training and CNC education.

-         Multi-axis extensible CNC controller.

-         It can be used for CNC machining centres, laser cutting machines, water jet machines, carpentry machines, engraving machines, spark erosion machines, etc.

-         As function-add-on software running on Windows 2000, CNCplusMTM does not change any functions of Windows 2000. All Windows 2000 based software can work together with CNCplusMTM.

-         Unlimited CNC program size.

-         Programming can be done with graphic input in Teach mode. CNC programming knowledge is not necessary.

-         Tool path and machining process can be checked with View mode before cutting.

-         Sub-programs and MACRO- instructions make programming work quick and neat.

-         Sub programs can be embedded up to 9 levers.

-         Primary MACRO-instructions were built in for arithmetic calculation, logical operation, mathematical functions and conditional divergence.

-         Programmable logical inputs and outputs are extensible and customisable.

-         Multi- document full screen editor.

-         Auto-numbering System.

-         Help document is available on-line and in details.

-         Different system parameters for different jobs controlled by project file. That makes repeat machining convenient.

-         Tool offset is controlled either by offset parameters in the tool data table or by the offset commands in CNC Program.

-         Multi coordinate systems: machine coordinate system, user-defined coordinate system, pre-defined working coordinate systems and the local coordinate system.

-         Backlash compensation and pitch compensation.

-         Pause, emergency stop and resume functions.

-         Hot keys are added for high efficiency.

-         Numerous messages assist user on-line.

-         Examples help user to learn programming skill fast.

-         Utility software, Tool Box, for system installation and troubleshooting.

-         CNCplusMTM Simulator, twin software of CNCplusMTM, includes all the operation modes and functions. It is an essential and efficient tool for off-line programming, operator training, and CNC education.

CNCplusMTM has six operation modes: Language, Setup, Editor, View, Teach and Operation.

 

Language Selection Mode

CNCplusMTM has multi-language Man Machine Interface. The language can be selected in this mode.

Setup Mode

CNCplusMTM is an open-architecture CNC system. Its characteristics, initial status and performance are controlled by parameters. The parameters can be specified in SETUP mode.

 

Editor mode

A full screen multi document editor provides the functions of browsing, inserting, deleting, copying, cutting, pasting and saving.

View Mode

The CNC program can be run continuously or step by step. Tool path, machine status and command blocks can be monitored without operating the CNC machine. Different viewpoints and zoom ratio can be selected to check the tool path closely.

 

Teach Mode

It is a powerful graphic programming tool. Key points of a tool path can be graphically input. Feed rate, spindle speed, tools and machine status can be selected. CNCplusM will automated create a CNC program and display it in the Windows.

Operation Mode

All machine control functions and machining functions are built in this mode such as homing, jogging, tool change, spindle control, miscellaneous control, speed override, compiling, testing, and running a CNC program, etc.

 

Tool Box

The functions in the Tool Box are useful for system installation, calibration and troubleshooting.
